About Us

At The Mitten Pediatric Palliative & Hospice Foundation, we believe that every child’s life — no matter how brief or medically complex — deserves to be filled with comfort, dignity, and love.

We serve children and young adults from newborn through 21 years of age who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening diagnoses, including those requiring ventilator support or advanced medical technologies.

Our foundation was created to walk alongside families as they navigate the physical, emotional, and financial challenges of caring for a medically fragile child. Through compassionate programs, family support, and advocacy, we strive to make sure no Michigan family ever feels alone in their journey.

Because here in Michigan’s mitten, we hold our littlest hands with the biggest hearts.
