Our Mission

The Mitten Pediatric Palliative & Hospice Foundation exists to support children and young adults from birth through age 21 who are living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Our mission is to offer comfort, resources, and steadfast advocacy to families as they navigate the immense challenges of complex medical care — including ventilator support and advanced life-sustaining technologies.

We collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and communities across Michigan to ensure that every child receives care that honors their dignity, individuality, and joy. At the same time, we strive to provide families with the compassion, stability, and understanding they deserve as they walk this difficult journey.
