Our Mission

The Mitten Pediatric Palliative & Hospice Foundation exists to transform pediatric end-of-life care in Michigan by providing compassionate, family-centered care, resources, and advocacy to children and young adults, from birth through age 21, living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions—and to the families who love them.

Through collaboration with families, healthcare providers, and communities, we work to ensure every child experiences comfort, dignity, individuality, and joy throughout serious illness and end-of-life care.

Today, we support families where they are. Tomorrow, we will bring Michigan’s first residential pediatric hospice home to life—a place where children can receive expert, compassionate care in a warm, home-like setting and families can focus on what matters most: being together.
